The Lundman Family Foundation was organized by the Phil and Nancy Lundman family to guide and adhere to the Christian understanding that all we are and have are gifts from God at our disposal to be developed, invested, and used wisely in ways that benefit others and advance the kingdom of God on earth.

The Foundation remains dedicated to supporting institutions, principles, and values that nurture and sustain the influence of the Christian church as Christ's primary moral teacher and instrument of salvation and healing for the world. We support the principle of limited, competent government that agressively restrains malice but does not infringe on the free inquiry into ultimate truth, the freedom to form and communicate ones own understanding, freedom of association and religious allegiances, and the economic freedom to serve others beneficially in a free and dynamic marketplace.

The Foundation is consciously seeking to lead by example – in our ongoing analyses of the general policy and cultural contexts within which we serve, in our consideration of particular grant making options, and in our assessments of whether the options we pursue are actually attaining their goals and objectives. We also actively seek to encourage and work with others with similar aspirations.

Your prayers, suggestions, and criticisms will be appreciated and seriously considered recognizing that we have limited wisdom and understanding and without God's guidence and the accountability of his people we cannot serve effectively. Our personal direct knowledge is small but the churches collective rich legacy of scripture, wisdom, tradition, virtue, symbol, experience, and knowledge is more than adequate for helping us discover further truth and especially for acting in faith, hope, and love as we allow God to mold our conscience and guide our efforts to serve our neighbors as ourselves.

All of life is meant to be a spiritual expression of love; our work, worship, meditation, relationships, service, and religion integrate to bring glory and honor to our creator God, who is love.
