Lundman Family Foundation Mission ~ Support Guidelines

Our Vision is that God’s kingdom be cultivated in the hearts of all and Christ’s love revealed through grace, truth, justice, hope, and mercy by and to each person, institution, and community.

Our Mission is to enable Christian communities, especially those that are disadvantaged or experiencing religious or ethnic persecution to be true disciples of Jesus by establishing and empowering churches to serve their local communities.

Our Method is to develop supportive partnerships with indigenous Christian communities as they serve each other and their neighbors in deeds of love that bear the marks of God’s kingdom. Our method includes education and training that integrates spiritual, health, economic, and personal skills development to impove total well being including earnings by serving others with products and services truly beneficial to those they serve.

Our Theological Convictions are anchored in the Bible, Nicene Creed, Apostles Creed, and Lausanne Covenant.

Our Standards are set by accountability to Christ’s global church by expecting ourselves and our partners to adhere to the highest theological, financial and ethical standards. We and our partners agree to hold each other accountable for mutual effectiveness by comparing expected and actual outcomes of ministry.

Expressions of kingdom values include: Witnessing to Christ’s kingdom through lifestyle, selfless love, quiet joy, inner peace and patient suffering (Matt 5: 1-19). Personal relationships restored with each other and Jesus as the Lord of all creation (2 Corinthians 5:16-21). Human dignity and equity affirmed for all people (Genesis 1:27). Freedom to act according to conscience (Deuteronomy 6:7; Hosea 4:6; Matthew 28:19; Ephesians 6:4; Colossians 2:8; ). Private property respected (Exodus 20:15, 17; Deut 19:14). Each individual has freedom of enterprise (Eccl 5:19; Proverbs 10:2-4; 12:24: 13:4, 11). Governments serve the people and everyone is allowed participation in decisions that affect them. (Deuteronomy 17:13-20; Ezekiel 34:1-14). Sharing that which enhances humanity, struggle against evil injustice and inequity, and to help realize hope for the future (Proverbs 31:8-9; Col. 1:9; Psalm 68:5).
